Ten years ago, I was not the ‘yoga type’. I worked in a global advertising agency in Bank, London. I travelled, I did high intensity exercise, I was fast paced and if I found any spare time I certainly wasn’t going to be ‘rolling around on a yoga mat’… Until, I burnt out and my father passed away. I couldn’t find purpose in anything. I had to start again, I had to find out who I really was without seeking Dad’s approval. Having tried numerous therapists, and other methods of escape, I succumbed to yoga and am now that cliché who states yoga saved me. I completed my yoga teacher training over 10 years ago, and went on to study psychology and counselling to fully understand mental and physical wellbeing. I now own yoga studios, lead yoga teacher trainings, work as a corporate wellbeing consultant and coach individuals through anxiety, depression and illness, using integrative therapy. Our body is a messenger, when we are not at ease mentally, it expresses dis-ease physically. Listen to the whisper, don’t wait for the shout.

Having worked in a global corporate company for many years before changing paths to wellness, Laura is passionate about offering wellness consultancy to a range of corporate clients. Laura’s consultancy includes wellness strategy, implementation and co-ordination of wellness classes and presentations including yoga, breath-work, meditation, fitness, psychology and more.
