I have been teaching yoga for over a decade now. I originally trained in Power Vinyasa, but over the years have qualified in many other styles including Pregnancy Yoga, Fertility Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Broga and more. I focus my time now on leading yoga teacher trainings, both in-person and online, and teach as much as I can in the studio or online, around my little boys. Our USP at Soul Sanctuary is bringing psychology into yoga. We use yoga poses to learn about ourselves - when confronted with a challenge do you push yourself too hard, do you experience patterns of burn-out off the mat? Is your self-worth connected to your achievements? Or, do you hold yourself back, where else do you do that off the mat? Taught in our way, you begin to learn how to step out of your own way and create the life you deserve.

My upcoming classes

I still love teaching my power classes, we have so much fun trying all the funky poses. Most people think power means ‘tough’ , it actually means ‘empowerment’; a class which offers options for beginners and advanced yogis! The empowerment is in meeting your own needs and staying true to you, whether that’s trying something new or going easy, the choice is yours!

I also love teaching more than asana (yoga poses), yoga has 8 limbs, and the poses are just 1 of those. So, I have also created ‘Sacred Space’ an online group where we learn and discuss yoga psychology, philosophy, ethics and more. The perfect place to learn more about yourself, understand yoga on a deeper level and connect with a likeminded group.

Finally, my yoga therapy classes integrate psychology, restorative yoga poses and meditation to create a space for you to reconnect and recharge. Life is difficult, and after it’s often relentless challenges we can start to feel tired and question ourselves, our direction, our purpose…with so much external influence and noise, it’s hard to hear our own voice. Yoga Therapy helps to rebuild confidence and the muscle of our gut, our intuition (inner teacher), so we can start to hear our own voice again, make decisions which are true to us, and thus get us back on our true path, our Dharma.
